Below is a list of a number of commonly asked questions to help you find out more about who we are and what we do.
Who are we?
We are simply a group of sinners who have been saved by the grace of God, gathered out to the Son of God, governed by the Word of God, guided and gifted by the Spirit of God. We hope to develop these truths later.
What do we believe?
We believe in the verbal inspiration of the Bible, in the virgin birth of the Lord Jesus Christ, the vicarious death of Christ, the victorious resurrection of Christ and the imminent, visible return of Christ for those who are saved. We would be happy to discuss our beliefs further.
Can I attend any meetings in your hall?
You definitely can. If you come along to any of our meetings you will be most welcome. There are no collections, fees or any pressure in any way. You can also obtain free literature if you are interested in finding out more on a range of topics. If you know any children who would like to attend our youth meetings please get in touch to arrange transport and find out more.
What is meant by being saved/born again?
The Bible tells us that everyone is born naturally as a sinner. This is because at the beginning of the human race, Adam (the first man) was placed in a privileged place and had frequent communication with God. God placed one prohibition on him which he disobeyed and as a direct result of that sin, God righteously put man out of that privileged place. This means that everyone born has been born in sin. If a person is born again/saved they have repented of their sin and accepted the provision that God has provided through the Lord Jesus Christ who died for their sins.
